So Taime will be graduating his AIT training in AZ. On July 2nd and will be home by July 3rd. It's been a year and we cant wait to have him back home with us. Also same date........Shannon will be visiting for the holiday weekend with a very pregnant Samantha 8 mos along and our precious Keeli babe. Oh wait thats not all......Cyndi, Jim, Tina and all her kids are coming for a week as well!!! WOW we are gunna have one full house. Summer brings so much fun. And it is beyond gorgeous up here in Oregon right now. The other 2 boys have only a few days of school left and then they are off for the traditional summer. Plus I have gone back to work doing my daycare and have 2 infants currently in my care whewwwwwwwwwwwwwww hands full!!
Will update more again later, so much is going on ...........OH AND LIVESTRONG!!! James is riding june 21st (fathers day) so we will be gone in seattle at the time. So if you wanted to donate be sure to get them in soon only 3 wks left.!!!

Dakota's Big Scout Camporee

Dakota and James hit the big Boy Scout Camporee this last May 1,2 & 3. This is Dakota's first year going as a full fledged boyscout after crossing over from cubscouts last febuary.
Camporee is huge! Hundreds of boys and scout masters come from all over the area to one giant piece of land located in a beautiful moutain town of Jewell. The property is also an elk reserve so they wander freely. It really is amazing and even though it rained (yes oregonians camp in pouring rain or snow) they all had a blast the kids and go from station to station run by the adults with different things to learn. Like team work, rope and knot tying, hatchet throwing, knife throwing, and many many more. The boys LOVE IT!! James researched so many different troops when Dakota was nearing the age of crossing over. He wanted a good responsible group that had their act together and he attended meeting after meeting with Dakota until they found one they really loved. Little did we know Dakota's entire den would want to follow Dakota and James over. So funny enough they got the entire den instead of just Dakota like they thought. They were really happy to have such a growing troop of kids. Here are some of the pics from that super fun weekend.

Walk to Defeat ALS

On September 27th 2009 We will be doing the WALK TO DEFEAT ALS for the second year in a row. My mom passed away from this heartwrenching disease on March 13th 2009 after a 2 year battle with this 100% terminal monster.
We were lucky enough to bring her along last year and I was beyond proud to push her the entire way in a wheelchair myself. We did it together Mom!!
My family and friends will be joining together again for the walk in portland this year. I have a link to our home page under my links section at the right. Please visit when you can.
We will continue this every year in my Mom's memory. We Love You Momma.

~James was interviewed last year for the local paper~

Hello everyone. James is now training for his 3rd year in a row doing the 100 mile ride for the LIVESTRONG CHALLENGE. The Boys and I have been absolutely blown away at his endurance to complete this year after year. We are so very proud of him.

You can follow the link below to his fundraising headquarters to view his progress or to make a donation. James needs to raise a minimum of $250 to ride in this challenge. He has met his goal every single year. Even if it is only one dollar, every tiny bit counts and goes to the Lance Armstrong Foundation for people and families with Cancer. The programs really are incredible and we try to help spread the word in every way we can. Please help support James this year again, even if it is only words of encouragement ......believe me it is so appreciated.

I decided to try to finally start a family blog page . Inspired by Angie and the amazing job she does on her blog page for her family I thought this was an incredible way to keep the family and friends involved in our families latest ventures.
